This week, the eCadets have been across KS2 teaching their peers about what fake news is, how to spot it and the importance of doing so!
Today at TCAT, Year 6 children competed against other schools for the prestigious Crucial Crew trophy.
Crucial Crew enables Year 6 children to gain and insight into life skills, lessons in personal safety, along with crime prevention.
Kyle N was personally mentioned for his contributions within each scenario and Mrs North’s class came 2nd out of 10 teams.
During the session today, the Police Cadet responded to a mock missing person situation. They interviewed the person reporting the missing person, collected facts and within the community asked questions. After interviewing various people, looking at CCTV and visiting last scene locations they successfully found the missing person.
Today the annihilators were selling ice creams and tickets for the raffle! The crowd was 10 people deep as people queued for the very popular ice creams. From the photos, it looks like the sports coaches took on a security role! Well done to everyone – an amazing job. More photos to follow with the total amount raised.
