What an emotional rollercoaster it was!
Their last day at primary school was very special for this amazing group of children. Having given out awards and special messages to the staff of the school. It was our turn to surprise them with all staff singing a farewell song, student awards and special videos.
Finally the children went home with a farewell gift after letting go balloons with special messages.
We will truly miss you. xx
Mrs North has been saving her feed bags all year round just so we could have a sack race. Even the sports coaches joined in.
Year 6 were very lucky with the weather on Thursday to have their end of term water fun. After a delicious picnic they all enjoyed the water activities. From running with water-filled wellies to sliding down a slippy slide, everyone had a fantastic time.
Treated like kings and queens, the year 6 children sat on a beautifully decorated table laden with gifts. Each child received an autograph book to collect comments from children and staff and a very sought after Alexander bear key ring. Thank you to everyone involved in creating special memories for Year 6.
Eyes down! Over the last 2 years, Year 6 children have developed a strong friendship with residents of Severn Walk. It was lovely to see everyone and welcome a few new faces.
Everyone enjoyed homedmade cakes served with tea and coffee while updating each other with their latest news.
Yesterday we had a brilliant trip to the seaside. After a long and hot coach journey we were met with beautiful weather for our beach adventure. The seagulls made the most of our packed lunches trying to take as many sandwiches as they could. After lunch we went for a refreshing paddle in the sea, rode on a donkey,played in the arcade and had an ice cream.
